We all desperately look forward to the weekend after a long week of work. But, when it finally arrives, we either spend it sleeping or cribbing about Monday. Then Monday comes in the blink of an eye, and the cycle continues. Where is the time for fun? If you don’t want to be a boring, bed-rotting zombie, try out these fun outing options for your upcoming weekend!
1.Dine out in style:
We all love ordering food online from Box 8 and eating from the comfort of our homes. Staying in and watching Netflix is sometimes needed to recharge yourself for the next week. However, if you want to recharge your mood by going out with friends, dining at your favourite restaurant is a good idea.
It doesn’t have to be something fancy. It could be your local Chinese food place with lip-smacking fried rice. Get your friends or family and step out for a wholesome dining experience. Nothing will recharge you more than spending quality time with close people and sharing some soul food.
2.Coffee with friends:
Who said coffee cafes are just for dates? If you are not in the mood to dine out, you can have a relaxing afternoon at your nearby Cafe Coffee Day. A vanilla latte might just be what you need to gear up for the next week. Pair it with a croissant sandwich if you are feeling snacky.
Whether you go to CCD or Starbucks Coffee, the best part is that you can start your weekend early at a coffee shop. You can take your laptop and work from a coffee shop on your last working day to have a slow wind down from the week.
3.Bar hopping:
For the go-getters and adventurous types, this is the best way to spend the weekend. Take your other adventure buddies or pull your introverted friends out of their homes and go for bar hopping. It is a fun activity when done with a large group of friends, so make sure you get your table reservations done in advance. At the end of the day, discuss your favourite places, drinks, and foods that each one of your friends found the best, and make a new list to try for the next time!
4.Movie time:
If you want to watch a movie but not on your TV or laptop screen, then book those tickets for the latest release in theatres. We love streaming our favourite content on streaming platforms, but nothing can take away the thrill of watching movies on a big screen with some cheesy popcorn. After having a fun day at the movies, you can discuss it with your colleagues the next day to beat the Monday blues.
Here you go; whether you decide to dine out fancy and have Continental food at a popular restaurant or just visit your local place, make sure that you have a heart-filling meal that will energize you for the week ahead. Maybe go out for a coffee, a movie, or bar hopping if that’s your thing. Whatever you choose, just have fun!
